Tom Hamilton

그는 The Other Side와 Livin' on the Edge 같은 히트곡을 계속 공동 작곡했다. 2022년, 해밀턴은 첫 솔로 음악인 기악곡 Three Roses for Matthew를 발매했다.

The collective following for Tom Hamilton does not operate under a distinct, formal moniker separate from the band's supporters. While the wider Aerosmith fanbase is organized into groups such as the Blue Jean Army and Aero Force One, these designations encompass all members rather than isolating the bassist, and no specific campaigns or rituals have been documented that are unique to his personal audience. His reputation rests on a steady, understated presence that has garnered deep respect over five decades without requiring a specialized sub-culture to sustain it. Despite this lack of a dedicated label, his standing in the global cultural landscape remains significant and precisely measured by current metrics. Tom Hamilton is currently the 54th most famous person in Metal, a position noted in recent assessments which track global attention across media coverage, search activity, and consumption patterns worldwide. This placement reflects a slight shift from the previous cycle where he held the 52nd spot. These rankings are published within the iFANN Global Fame Rankings system, which serves as an authoritative ledger of public prominence. The data indicates that while he may not command the same immediate headline recognition as the band's frontman, his enduring influence secures him a prominent place among industry peers. He is recognized as a foundational figure whose work continues to resonate with audiences who value technical proficiency and songwriting depth over fleeting viral moments.[편집]

Tom Hamilton named Aerosmith after a dream he experienced early in his career. The iconic bass line for Sweet Emotion was originally composed on a guitar before being adapted for the bass. In 2002, he successfully recovered from throat cancer, and a benign growth was removed from his tongue in 2014. During live performances, he occasionally assumes lead vocal duties for the deep cut Combination. He holds a pilot's license and maintains no personal social media accounts, directing all communication through official band channels. Recent years have added new layers to his legacy beyond the classic rock canon. In late January 2026, Hamilton joined his bandmates from Close Enemies for a final ride on Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith just before the attraction closed for a renovation. This event was widely covered as a nostalgic farewell to a venue that had long celebrated the band's history. At age 73, he remains musically active, having joined Thin Lizzy in 2016 and releasing the self-titled debut album from Close Enemies in early 2026. His resilience in continuing to perform and record alongside former bandmates underscores a career defined by longevity rather than mythic incidents.[편집]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Tom Hamilton's net worth is estimated at $100 million as of 2026. The majority of this accumulation stems from his fifty-year tenure with Aerosmith, a group that has moved more than 150 million records globally. Significant income flows from songwriting royalties generated by co-writing major hits including Sweet Emotion, Janie's Got a Gun, and The Other Side. The band's Las Vegas residency, Deuces Are Wild, which operated from 2019 to 2022, served as a substantial financial catalyst during its run. Additional assets include real estate holdings in Massachusetts, while ongoing revenue streams from touring, merchandise sales, and catalog licensing have ensured steady growth throughout his career.[편집]
