Saya Iida has cultivated a dedicated following within the professional wrestling community, characterized by an appreciation for her technical proficiency and relentless in-ring energy. While she commands significant respect among fans of World Wonder Ring Stardom and those who follow cross-promotional events like NJPW, her support base remains organic rather than formally organized. Unlike pop idols with massive, structured fan clubs, Iida does not have a documented official fandom name; her supporters typically identify simply as wrestling enthusiasts or members of the broader Stardom audience. Discussions regarding her career occur within general wrestling subreddits and forums rather than through dedicated fan-run campaigns, charity drives, or viral social media rituals specific to her persona. Her influence is demonstrated through consistent engagement in high-profile voting events, such as the NJPW Concours 2025, where her inclusion reflects a desire from her followers to see her compete on major stages. Fans frequently describe her as a "real wrestler" whose authenticity and underdog narrative have earned her a niche but loyal reputation since her debut. Despite her rising profile, including title challenges at major events like American Dream 2026 and Dream Queendom 2025, there are no records of fan-funded projects or large-scale public installations bearing her name. Regarding her global standing, iFANN has evaluated her current public profile and determined that she holds no placement in the published Global Top 1,000 rankings or any Top-100 scope list. This evaluation indicates that while she is a recognized figure within her specific industry sector, she does not currently meet the threshold for a ranked position in the worldwide fame index.[편집]

Before entering the ring, Saya Iida worked as a hairdresser and studied interior design during her high school years, a background that often surprises observers given her athletic prowess. Standing at 145 cm, she is one of the shortest active competitors in Stardom, yet she overcomes her size disadvantage with a finishing move called the Iidagan, which adapts Mayu Iwatani's Dragon Suplex into a diamond cutter variation. Fans affectionately refer to her as "Gori-chan," a moniker highlighting her muscular strength that belies her small frame, likening her power to that of a gorilla. She occasionally wrestles under the masked persona "Super Strong Stardom Machine." Beyond these established facts, recent years have added significant chapters to her legend. In August 2026, she competed in a highly anticipated Full Match for the Wonder of Stardom Championship against Konami, cementing her status as a top-tier contender. Earlier that year, she faced Alex Windsor for the NJPW STRONG Women's Title at the American Dream event, marking a high point in her international crossover career. These performances, alongside her return from an extended injury absence announced in February 2026, have solidified her reputation as a resilient competitor who consistently delivers quality matches despite being initially overlooked by the mainstream spotlight.[편집]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Saya Iida's net worth is estimated at $500 Thousand as of 2026.
