Oliver Tree

Oliver Tree was an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, comedian, and filmmaker. He is known for blending pop, rock, hip-hop, and electronic sounds with an absurdist, character-driven persona. Tree signed to Atlantic Records in 2017 and released his debut studio album Ugly Is Beautiful on July 17, 2020, which peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200. He achieved international recognition with the global hit "Life Goes On" in 2021 and the Robin Schulz collaboration "Miss You" in 2022. By the time of his death, Tree had amassed over 4.6 billion streams on Spotify across four studio albums. His music often explored themes of heartbreak, alienation, and self-deprecation, delivered with a mix of sincerity and satire. Fans were drawn to his distinctive visual style: a bowl-cut wig, tiny sunglasses, oversized windbreakers, and baggy JNCO jeans. Tree died on June 14, 2026, in a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, while on tour.[편집]

(California Institute of the Arts)에 등록하여 음악 기술 학사 학위를 취득했다. 같은 해, 그의 노래 "When I'm Down"의 발매는 전환점이 되어 결국 그를 지도에 올려놓았고, 2017년 Atlantic Records와의 계약으로 이어졌다. 트리는 "When I'm Down"이 바이럴된 후 2017년 Atlantic Records와 계약했습니다. 이 앨범에는 RIAA 골드 및 플래티넘 인증 싱글 "Alien Boy", "Hurt", "Miracle Man", "Let Me Down"이 포함되었습니다. 2021년 "Life Goes On"이 글로벌 바이럴 성공을 거두고 2022년 Robin Schulz와의 "Miss You"로 국제적인 인정을 받았습니다. 세 번째 스튜디오 앨범 Alone in a Crowd는 2023년 9월 29일에 나왔습니다. Love You Madly Hate You Badly는 2026년 4월 24일에 발매되었습니다. 사망 당시 트리는 "The World's First World Tour"라는 제목의 헤드라이닝 월드 투어 중이었습니다.
