Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a unified communication platform developed by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft 365 suite. It serves as a central workspace where employees organize projects into teams and channels to exchange instant messages, share files, and host voice or video meetings. The interface supports real-time co-authoring on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents directly within the app.

Announced at Microsoft's Ignite conference in November 2016, the software reached general availability on March 14, 2017. It replaced Skype for Business as the primary enterprise communication tool across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. During the COVID-19 pandemic, adoption surged dramatically with monthly active users jumping from 20 million in November 2019 to 75 million just five months later. By January 2023, that figure had climbed to 280 million. [편집]

The interaction model focuses on managing organizational workflows rather than entertainment mechanics. Users organize work into teams and subdivide them into channels dedicated to specific projects or topics. Within these spaces, colleagues exchange instant messages, share files, and initiate voice or video conferences. Free accounts allow one-on-one calls lasting up to 30 hours and group meetings capped at 60 minutes. The system integrates hundreds of third-party applications like Trello and Asana while supporting custom bots built on the Microsoft Bot Framework. [편집]

This software contains no narrative, characters, or plot synopsis because it functions as a business utility instead of an interactive story. There are no protagonists, antagonists, or dramatic arcs to follow. The experience relies entirely on user-defined goals such as scheduling meetings, editing spreadsheets, or coordinating project tasks in a professional setting. [편집]
