Marc Cucurella stands as the 309th most famous person in the world, a position he has held steady across recent cycles according to the iFANN Global Fame Rankings. His influence extends deeply within his homeland, where he ranks as the 48th most famous person in Spain and the 16th most famous person from Spain, both figures anchored by consistent global attention. Across the European continent, he holds the 73rd spot for fame among all personalities in the region. These placements reflect a career that has resonated far beyond the pitch, tracking his journey through La Liga, the Premier League, and international tournaments with the national team.

Despite his rising profile, Cucurella's fanbase does not operate under a single formal moniker like "The Cucurella Army." Instead, his supporters are woven into the vibrant, highly organized communities of Chelsea FC, Real Madrid, and the Spanish national side. While he commands a significant digital following on Instagram, interactions remain largely centered on match highlights and personal updates rather than structured, fan-led campaigns or exclusive charity drives. The most enduring story of his recent years involves a promise kept: after leading Spain to victory in the 2026 World Cup, he honored a vow to get a tattoo of head coach Luis de la Fuente's face, a gesture of loyalty that became a talking point across Spanish football culture. This moment, alongside his high-profile move back to Europe's biggest club in the summer of 2026, cemented his status as a player whose personal commitments resonate just as loudly as his performances on the field.[편집]

He speaks Catalan, Spanish, and English fluently, and keeps a pet dog named Lucky, who frequently appears on his social media. A devoted basketball enthusiast, Cucurella is a known supporter of the Los Angeles Lakers.

A defining legend of his recent career emerged following Spain's triumph in the 2026 World Cup. Prior to the tournament, Cucurella promised to ink a tattoo of head coach Luis de la Fuente's face somewhere visible if the team won. True to his word, he revealed the portrait shortly after the final, marking a rare public display of loyalty that fans still retell. Another pivotal chapter occurred in the summer of 2026 when he completed a transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid in a deal valued at approximately £52 million. Upon leaving London, he released a farewell video titled "London will always be my home," expressing deep affection for the city despite moving to Madrid.[편집]
