Maicon

Maicon Douglas Sisenando commands a legacy that transcends his retirement, anchoring himself within the collective memory of Inter Milan and the Brazilian national team rather than a standalone fan organization. Unlike modern pop icons who cultivate named tribes, his supporters are defined by their allegiance to the clubs he served, with the Nerazzurri community maintaining a permanent institutional reverence for his role in the 2010 Treble. While no formal group identifies as 'Maiconites,' his influence persists through club tributes and the continued citation of his tactical evolution of the right-back position. This enduring relevance is quantified by his standing in the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, where he holds a specific placement among global figures. He is currently ranked the 66th most famous person from Brazil, a position holding steady from the previous cycle. The ranking reflects a consistent historical footprint rather than viral fluctuation, underscoring his status as a definitive figure in football history. His presence in these rankings confirms that despite retiring in 2021, his impact on the sport remains a primary reference point for discussions regarding attacking full-backs. The data indicates that his fame is not merely nostalgic but actively maintained through the ongoing celebration of his career milestones and the institutional recognition provided by Inter Milan, ensuring his name remains synonymous with excellence in the defensive flank.[편집]
