LaurenzSide

Lauren Weber films fear for a living. As LaurenzSide, the New York gamer has spent over a decade turning horror titles, Sims challenges, and cursed indie games into jump-cut comedy for one of the largest audiences in gaming YouTube — 10.4 million subscribers and nearly 5 billion views (YouTube). Her signature bit is equal parts simple and unhinged: strap on a heart-rate monitor, boot up something from the internet's dark corners, and let the audience watch her pulse do the screaming. In May 2024 she signed with Creative Artists Agency (Newsy People), and Bad Egg Publishing announced her debut graphic novel Going Under at New York Comic Con (Bleeding Cool).[편집]

Born July 7, 1989, in New York (Sportskeeda), Lauren Weber lost her father to lung cancer during high school — a loss she has discussed openly as a defining event. She has an older half-sister, Chrissy, and a younger brother, Ryan. She experimented with vlogs on YouTube as early as 2007, then set the platform aside for college, earning a degree in Communication Arts. While working a 9-to-5 office job she found creatively draining, she relaunched on YouTube in 2013 as LaurenzSide, committing to comedic gaming Let's Plays built on fast editing and self-aware commentary.[편집]

The channel's first growth spurt came through Crazy Craft, a modded Minecraft series recorded with LDShadowLady, Joey Graceffa, AshleyMarieGaming, and Yammy xox. From there LaurenzSide refined a formula — jump cuts, meme overlays, challenge premises like living 24 hours as her Sim — and applied it to the Sims, Minecraft, and horror games. Subscriber milestones followed: past 8 million in the early 2020s, past 10 million by mid-decade, with lifetime views approaching 5 billion.

The business professionalized in 2024. On May 7 she signed with Creative Artists Agency for representation (Newsy People). Later that year Bad Egg Comics used New York Comic Con to announce Going Under, her debut graphic novel — created with H.E. Caldwell, written by Kelley Skovron, with art by Nel Robinson (Bleeding Cool). The horror graphic novel is now listed as LaurenZside Presents: Going Under Vol. 1 (GlobalComix). Earlier, in 2022, she hosted the YouTube Originals competition Secret Saboteurs (Wikitia). She posts across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, where her bio reads "Graphic Novel Creator" and "Trying to find the humor in everything."[편집]

The brand is gaming comedy with the volume up: rapid jump cuts, meme overlays, self-deprecating narration, and a willingness to suffer on camera — heart-rate-monitor horror sessions are the signature. She skips competitive gaming for narrative and challenge content, and her off-camera candor about grief and parenting gives the humor a grounding fans cite as the reason they stay. The CAA signing and a graphic-novel credit list her, unusually for an independent gaming creator, as a mainstream entertainment client (Newsy People).[편집]

iFANN-only numbers, read from live data: YouTube: 10,400,000 subscribers, 4,987,092,139 views (fetched 2026-10-18). No Last.fm presence is tracked for this entry. Popularity rank: #41,176 overall, #30,940 by type (ranked 2026-10-19). iFANN's Global Fame Engine currently evaluates her as unranked, so she holds no placement in the published Global Top 1,000 or any scope-specific list — her fame lives on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram rather than in iFAMOUS crossover metrics.[편집]

Before YouTube paid the bills she worked a 9-to-5 office job she has described as monotonous. Her first 2007 vlog channel was scrapped before the 2013 gaming relaunch. Dexter, her dog, is a recurring on-camera presence. The "Z" in LaurenzSide has never been fully explained by Weber herself. Going Under was created with H.E. Caldwell but scripted by Kelley Skovron — a collaborators' table closer to mainstream comics than typical creator merch (Bleeding Cool).[편집]

Her father died of lung cancer while she was in high school. She has an older half-sister, Chrissy, and a younger brother, Ryan. On August 20, 2016, she married fellow YouTuber Bobby, known as Bobizard (Wikitubia). Their daughter Melody was born May 6, 2021 (Sportskeeda), and second child Madison followed on June 14, 2024 (TopPlanetInfo). The household includes a dog, Dexter, a fixture of her videos. Parenting updates are a regular thread in her Instagram content.[편집]

Her husband Bobby, known as Bobizard, is a fellow YouTuber known for Pokemon content who appears in her videos (World-Celebs). Early visibility came through the modded Minecraft series Crazy Craft alongside LDShadowLady, Joey Graceffa, AshleyMarieGaming, and Yammy xox. In 2022 she hosted YouTube Originals' Secret Saboteurs competition (Wikitia).[편집]

Her one public relationship is her marriage: she wed fellow YouTuber Bobby (Bobizard) on August 20, 2016, after a four-year courtship (Wikitubia). They have two children and appear together across her social channels.[편집]

No net worth figure has been published by Weber or a credible outlet; the frequently repeated $7 million estimate is unsourced. Revenue lines on record: YouTube ad revenue on nearly 5 billion lifetime views, CAA-brokered sponsorships, merchandise, and the Bad Egg graphic novel Going Under (Newsy People, Bleeding Cool).[편집]
