Kun commands a dedicated following as the leader and main vocalist of WayV, where his fanbase is officially known as WayZenNies. This collective derives its name from a portmanteau of the group title and "Zen," reflecting the calm, mature aesthetic associated with Kun's leadership. The community is noted for its high organization on digital platforms like Weibo and Weverse, frequently coordinating streaming campaigns for releases such as "Phantom" and "Universe" to drive chart performance. Their engagement was visibly intense during the group's first Philippines fan meeting in March 2023, where attendees displayed profound emotional investment in the artist's presence. While specific large-scale physical projects are not universally documented, the fandom maintains active rituals, including planning surprise celebrations for Kun's birthday through official channels. In August 2026, the iFANN Global Fame Engine evaluated Kun's standing but determined that he currently holds no placement within the published Global Top 1,000 rankings or any Top-100 scope list. Consequently, no specific ordinal rank or numerical score can be assigned to his current global fame status. Despite this lack of a formal ranking, his influence remains significant within the Chinese idol market, supported by a loyal audience that values his dual role as a performer and producer. The absence of a separate moniker for Kun's individual fans further underscores their integration into the broader WayZenNie identity rather than a distinct sub-fandom.[편집]

Kun's Chinese name character 錕 translates to "steel sword," a detail often cited alongside his visual resemblance to a young Liam Payne. His representative color is orange, and he possesses a driver's license while enjoying skydiving and photography. Beyond these traits, Kun can perform magic tricks and plays the piano. He has been known by several nicknames including Kun Kun, Xiaodan, Dandan, and Kun-ge. A persistent piece of lore involves his childhood scouting by TFBoys, which his parents declined. Fans also cherish the verified story of his unexpected love for the animated film *Shrek*, a revelation from a 2020 interview that humanized his polished idol image. Another enduring narrative concerns his "honey voice," a vocal quality established before his debut when he won multiple singing contests in Fujian. His legend is further defined by a long, arduous trainee journey across Taiwan and China, often described by followers as a reflection of perseverance. Following the departures of other members in May 2023, his role as the sole original member remaining in WayV solidified his reputation as the group's pillar of stability.[편집]
