The most defining chapter of his modern mythology occurred when he scored the winning goal on his debut for Inter against Real Betis, a moment instantly celebrated across international outlets as a dream start that validated his late-career reinvention. Despite persistent whispers about his injury history, his consistent performances and tactical versatility have earned him enduring respect.
