Jasmine Yen

Jasmine Yen was born famous-adjacent and is working hard to make the hyphen disappear. The daughter of Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen and former model Cissy Wang (Starmometer), the Shanghai-born singer-songwriter chose Berklee College of Music on scholarship, then RCA Records, then — in October 2026 — independence.

The discography tells a coming-of-age in real time: debut album Tbh, the wistful 2024 hit "Forever 19," June 2026's strutting "Roll With Me," and now "SWEAT," a dark-pop single about desire and losing control that she calls "the most honest I've ever been" (Starmometer). The Erik He-directed video, shot in Stockholm, premiered October 9, 2026 (Starmometer).[편집]

Born in Shanghai, China, in 2004 (exact date undisclosed; she turned 20 around January 2024 and is 22 in October 2026) (Archyde, Starmometer). She began composing at seven after watching the film Amadeus, sang Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" at an aunt's wedding, and later earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, which she paused to pursue music full-time. Detailed childhood performance claims lack citable sources and are condensed here.[편집]

2023: signs with RCA Records (Sony Music); releases debut album Tbh.

2024: "Forever 19" — co-written with Tat Tong — becomes her breakout, landing on RTHK's Top 10 International Gold Songs; the MV features her high-school and Berklee friends (Dimsum Daily, KKBOX). Note: older entries dating this single to 2023 are corrected to 2024.

2026: "Roll With Me" arrives in June as a statement of independence (The Standard); "SWEAT" follows in October as her first independent release, with a Stockholm-shot video out October 9 (Starmometer).[편집]

Nepo-baby defiance, politely executed: every interview stresses the Berklee scholarship, the songwriting credits, and now the independent leap. "SWEAT" is engineered as the proof — darker, fully controlled, and deliberately far from her father's shadow (Starmometer).[편집]

iFANN-only numbers, read from live data: Last.fm: 1,847 listeners, 9,279 plays (fetched 2026-10-13). No YouTube figures are on file. Popularity rank: #39,059 overall, #28,986 by type (ranked 2026-10-19). She holds no placement in the iFANN Global Fame Engine Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. Her audience is still forming: Cantopop-curious listeners and Donnie Yen fans watching to see what the daughter does next.[편집]

Her listed height of 5 ft 11 in appeared in older database entries without a source and is removed as unverified. The "SWEAT" video was shot entirely indoors in Stockholm and styled around the city's fashion-design reputation (Starmometer).[편집]

Daughter of actor Donnie Yen and Cissy Wang (Starmometer). No sibling detail is published here. No partner is publicly confirmed; relationship status is undisclosed.[편집]

Donnie Yen (father) and Cissy Wang (mother) (Starmometer). RCA Records/Sony Music, her former label. Erik He, director of the "SWEAT" video (Starmometer). Tat Tong, co-writer of "Forever 19" (KKBOX).[편집]

No credible net worth figure has been published; an older $1 million estimate was unsourced and is dropped. Revenue lines on record: label releases, streaming, and — from October 2026 — independent releases.[편집]

"Forever 19" placed in RTHK's Top 10 International Gold Songs. No other award win or nomination is documented.[편집]
