Izzy Stradlin

(Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds)를 결성하여 1992년 셀프 타이틀 데뷔 앨범을 발매했습니다.

Sweet Child o' Mine, Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle 밴드는 이후 G N' R Lies(1988)와 쌍둥이 앨범 Use Your Illusion I 및 II(1991)를 발표했습니다.

Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds를 발매했으며, 긍정적인 평가와 싱글 Shuffle It All을 얻었습니다. 117°(1998), River(2001), On Down the Road(2002), Like a Dog(2005), Miami(2007), Fire, the Acoustic Album(2007), Concrete(2008), Smoke(2009)

Izzy Stradlin sits at a unique intersection of rock history and modern legend, his influence rippling far beyond his own solo catalog. He is currently the 24th most famous person in Metal, a standing confirmed by the iFANN Global Fame Rankings that track global attention across media coverage, search, and consumption signals worldwide. This placement holds steady from the previous cycle, cementing his status as an essential figure in the genre's canon despite decades of silence. The narrative surrounding him is less about active stardom and more about the enduring weight of what was lost; he remains the grounding force fans remember as the quiet anchor who kept Guns N' Roses from drifting too far into abstraction. While no formal collective noun defines his specific following, the audience reveres him as a cult icon within the broader community, often engaging in retrospective campaigns to highlight his songwriting contributions. His absence has become a point of discussion rather than active engagement, with folklore suggesting he left due to burnout and creative differences. Fans frequently cite the "disastrous almost-return" to the band before the 2016 reunion as a pivotal moment where tension severed the final link. Even current members like Richard Fortus have leaned into this lore, creating merchandise referencing the "35-year-old meme" about Stradlin's departure. He is the missing link, the one who walked away while the world watched, leaving a legacy defined by what might have been.[편집]

Stradlin's stage name comes from a childhood nickname inspired by Keith Richards' moniker, though he was originally Jeffrey Dean Isbell. A competitive swimmer in high school, he once considered a professional athletic career before turning to music. He owns a tattoo of a Ju Ju symbol on his arm and is a dedicated animal rights advocate who supports PETA. Notably, he was the only Guns N' Roses member absent from their 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and has never released a live album or concert DVD from his solo work. He contributed backing vocals and guitar to the Rolling Stones' Bridges to Babylon in 1997 and appeared on magazine covers for both Rolling Stone and Spin in 1991. Legends persist regarding his sudden exit in December 1991, just before the Use Your Illusion releases, which many frame as the moment the band's original chemistry broke. A widely retold story involves a near-reunion attempt years later that fell apart due to irreconcilable tensions with Axl Rose. Former manager Alan Niven has publicly called him the most important member, asserting it was effectively his band.[편집]

그는 Rolling Stones의 Bridges to Babylon에 기여했으며, Keith Richards 및 Ron Wood와 함께 작업했습니다.[편집]

iFANN currently estimates Izzy Stradlin's net worth at $36 Million. This figure reflects his primary income source: songwriting royalties generated during his tenure with Guns N' Roses, particularly from the massive sales of Appetite for Destruction and the Use Your Illusion albums where he co-wrote numerous hits. He also earns from his solo album catalog, which includes ten studio albums, though commercial returns remain modest compared to his former bandmates. Stradlin does not tour extensively and lacks major endorsement deals, owning property in Indiana and collecting occasional merchandise royalties. His financial standing is significantly lower than his ex-bandmates due to his departure in 1991, which ended his participation in the group's most lucrative touring and recording years. The valuation has remained stable over the past decade, as he has not released new music since 2009.[편집]
