Haechan commands a devoted following within the collective NCTZEN community, where fans have historically distinguished themselves through rapid mobilization to protect the member's privacy. This dynamic was notably displayed in April 2026 when supporters rallied against dating rumors and alleged private leaks, framing the incident as a critical boundary between public interest and personal security. The fanbase also maintains a culture of intense loyalty, evidenced by their vocal defense of the group during internal crises and their immediate reaction to safety breaches such as the home invasion in March 2023. While Haechan does not possess a standalone fandom name separate from his units, the specific designation Sunflowers is documented for individual supporters in official records. Regarding his standing in global celebrity metrics, iFANN has evaluated Haechan but currently assigns him no placement in the Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. He remains an EVALUATED_UNRANKED entity within the system, indicating that while his profile is active and assessed, he does not yet hold a published ordinal position among the world's most famous individuals. This status reflects a career defined by immense popularity within the K-pop sphere and significant solo milestones like the 2025 release of Taste, rather than a top-tier ranking in broad international fame databases.[편집]

Haechan is known for taking on the most cleaning and dishwashing duties in the dormitory and is recognized for his high level of skinship with fellow members. His personal interests span songwriting, piano, soccer, video games, and music listening. As one of the few NCT members active simultaneously in three sub-units for extended periods, he balances diverse musical concepts across NCT 127, NCT Dream, and NCT U. Official profiles consistently list his height at approximately 174 cm, though some sources vary between 171 cm and 174 cm; his blood type is AB. Fans frequently retell the story of the 'Where is the line?' privacy debate from April 2026, where the fanbase successfully defended his right to a private life against dating rumors, turning a potential scandal into a landmark moment for fan culture. Another iconic memory involves the emotional concerts following Mark Lee's departure, described by attendees as feeling like a funeral; Haechan performed through visible tears, creating a piece of lore regarding his emotional depth. Additionally, the viral spread of the vaping fine issued in January 2024 serves as a cautionary tale often referenced in discussions about idol conduct and health regulations.[편집]
