Gaeul commands a global audience as a central figure within one of the most commercially dominant fourth-generation K-pop groups, with her visibility driven by IVE's record-breaking discography and widespread streaming metrics. Despite this high-profile association, iFANN has evaluated her individual standing and determined that she does not currently hold a placement in the Global Top 1,000 or any published Top-100 scope list, meaning no specific numeric rank is assigned to her solo fame at this time. Her dedicated following is formally known as DIVE, an organized collective recognized for aggressive chart campaigns and significant purchasing power that supports the group's commercial milestones. This fanbase actively engages in charity initiatives aligned with Gaeul's advocacy, such as reading challenges and literacy drives, while also maintaining distinct narratives regarding her role as the eldest member and main dancer. Interactions between the idol and her supporters are characterized by moments of emotional resonance, including segments where she offers personal advice on self-love, fostering a culture that values her stability and empathetic presence alongside her technical performance skills.[편집]

Both her real name and stage name mean autumn, a thematic element that consistently informs her public image and fan perception. She completed a rigorous four-year training period at Starship Entertainment before making her official debut, demonstrating notable perseverance. Gaeul maintains a distinct personal taste for horror movies and mystery novels, a hobby that contrasts with her polished idol persona. As the main dancer and lead rapper of IVE, she anchors the group's technical performance standards. Her MBTI personality type is classified as ISTJ. In March 2026, she achieved widespread acclaim by defeating veteran comedian Jang Dong-min in a brain power game on a Korean variety show, a victory that cemented her reputation for quick wit. Later that year, she was named a champion of the national '2026 Book-Reading Korea' campaign, and an author publicly praised her insightful commentary in July 2026, reinforcing her status as a 'reading queen'. Fans affectionately refer to her as the 'chill eldest,' a moniker that highlights her calm demeanor against her powerful stage presence. A defining legend from early 2026 recounts her dominance in the 'Death Game' segment of a survival show, where she outshined established intellectual icons to earn the title of a new 'Brain Survival Star'. Another recurring story involves her shift in February 2026 toward a 'powerful performance' style, marking a pivotal evolution from her earlier 'princess polish' aesthetic.[편집]
