DK, born Lee Seok-min, stands as a central pillar of the global K-pop phenomenon SEVENTEEN, commanding a reputation that extends far beyond his role as lead vocalist. His influence is quantified by iFANN's Global Fame Engine, which evaluated his standing in August 2026 and determined that he currently holds no placement within the published Global Top 1,000 rankings or any specific Top-100 scope list. This evaluation reflects a status where his fame, while immense within his specific demographic, has not yet crossed the threshold into the broadest global celebrity metrics defined by the engine's methodology. The scale of his reach is nonetheless evident in the sheer volume of media coverage, search consumption, and digital engagement generated by his performances worldwide. His fanbase, known officially as Carat, operates with a level of organization rarely seen outside the highest echelons of the industry. These fans do not merely consume content; they actively construct DK's cultural mythology through structured campaigns, from massive streaming drives that shatter platform records to charitable initiatives dedicated to children's hospitals and environmental causes on his birthday. The bond between DK and Carat is characterized by reciprocal warmth, exemplified by his interactive vocal warm-up streams and the enduring viral tradition of the DK Dance Challenge. While he shares the collective identity of the group rather than possessing a separate fandom name, the specific rituals surrounding his career milestones, such as the joint birthday livestreams with Vernon, have become iconic touchstones for the community. This dynamic relationship reinforces his position as a beloved figure whose artistic output resonates deeply with a dedicated global audience.[편집]

In 2026, this tradition expanded to include a special group photo and an amusement park visit shared on social media.
