Confessions II

A sheer purple veil and lace dress framed Madonna on a speaker for the cover of her fifteenth studio album, Confessions II, released July 3, 2026. The project serves as a direct sequel to her 2005 hit Confessions on a Dance Floor, reuniting the singer with producer Stuart Price to craft a continuous DJ set without gaps between tracks. This 64-minute collection marks her first studio release in seven years since Madame X and returns to the high-energy electronic sounds that defined her mid-2000s resurgence.

Guest appearances anchor the tracklist, starting with Sabrina Carpenter on the lead single Bring Your Love, which debuted during Carpenter's Coachella set in April 2026 when Madonna made a surprise appearance. Colombian reggaeton star Feid joins the record on Read My Lips, while Belgian artist Stromae contributes to an unnamed track. Beyond Price, the production palette expands with contributions from Cirkut, Tainy, Andrew Watt, Mirwais, and Arca.

Critical reception highlighted the album's emotional range and its ability to create a ritualistic space where movement replaces language. Early reviews from The Independent called it Madonna's best work in two decades, praising its seamless structure. Commercially, the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, becoming the last album to cross the 100,000 copy sales threshold before physical numbers declined later in 2026. [편집]
