Achraf Hakimi commands a global following that transcends the typical football fanbase, blending deep respect for his on-pitch mastery with an intense personal devotion to his identity as a Moroccan captain. While he lacks a single formalized name for his supporters, his audience is simply those who follow the game's elite rather than a unified cult with a specific moniker, the loyalty of his fans is evident in their unwavering support during both triumphs and turbulent times. His career is marked by legendary athletic feats, including his record-breaking assist season in Germany and his pivotal role in Morocco's historic World Cup run, moments that have cemented his status as a national icon. However, the narrative surrounding him has evolved significantly; by mid-2026, his public image became defined by a severe legal battle in France, a saga that has drawn massive media scrutiny while his teammates and the Moroccan federation publicly stood behind him. Despite these challenges, his achievements remain undeniable, highlighted by winning the 2025 African Footballer of the Year award and contributing to PSG's UEFA Super Cup victory just months prior. This duality of celebrated champion and figure in a high-stakes trial creates a unique dynamic where his fame is driven as much by his resilience as his skill. His standing in the global consciousness reflects this complex reality, placing him among the most recognized figures worldwide. According to the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, Achraf Hakimi is the 225th most famous person in the world, holding steady from the previous cycle. He ranks as the 96th most famous person in Spain and stands as the 11th most famous person from Spain.[편집]

Growing up, his idol was the legendary Brazilian right-back Cafu, a player whose style heavily influenced Hakimi's own attacking approach. A practicing Muslim, he frequently performs the sujud (prostration) immediately after scoring goals, a gesture of gratitude that has become a signature moment on pitches worldwide. In 2022, he demonstrated significant generosity by donating €1 million to earthquake relief efforts in his native Morocco. His professional records are equally impressive; he holds the Bundesliga record for most assists by a defender in a single season, tallying 10 in 2019-20. The lore around him also includes his 2025 African Player of the Year accolade, which solidified his status as the continent's top talent. More recently, the story of his legal battles in 2026 has become a defining chapter in his life, overshadowing some athletic narratives but highlighting the intense pressure he faces at the highest level of sport.[편집]
