iran's regime is supposedly scrambling after scott bessent said their oil reserves are down to 30 million barrels at most. they're firing back with threats of an exclusion zone in the strait of hormuz, and gas lines are already climbing. a us strike sank one of their tankers out of three hit. the parliament speaker claims retaliation is easy since their oil and gas setup is spread out and open to attack. jobs are vanishing, 500 people who used to work here are now idle, and the government leans on oil money to stay afloat. output fell from 2 million barrels a day before the war to just 200,000 sold in august.
