Texas Senate race is heating up and now the money is pouring in. Trump-aligned super PAC is spending $10 million to boost Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against Democrat James Tallarico. His political operation pouring $10 million into the Senate race here in a state that Republicans have dominated for decades. So all of this comes after weeks of Republicans pressuring President Trump to start spending some of MAGA Inc.'s massive war chest with Democrat James Tallarico holding a slight edge in most recent polls in a neck and neck race with Republican Ken Paxton. A new FEC filing shows the pro-Trump super PAC dropping $5 million to boost Paxton and another $5 million to go after Tallarico. Two new ads already posted online. Tallarico, higher taxes. Paxton lower taxes A clear choice MAGA Inc sharing this with Fox quote high Tallarico wants to take money out of Texans pockets MAGA Inc. is going to ensure Texas knows about Tallarico's radical policies and elects Ken Paxton to the U.S. Senate. Tallarico's campaign firing back, saying, quote, billionaire-backed dark money groups are lying about James Tallarico because they're scared of the people-powered movement we're building to fix this broken, corrupt political system. Republicans have been warning they do not have the money budgeted to keep pace in Texas, publicly calling on the president to step in. Look, I'm telling everybody we need to do more. This is a very real fight right now. Republicans are being massively outspent. And this big investment comes just days after President Trump expected to head right here to Dallas for the first ever GOP midterm convention.
