Vance slams El-Sayed for socialist claims

작성: Not A Charm: JD Vance

The Michigan Senate Democrat El-Sayed gets labeled a Socialist by VP Vance, who argues the program isn't about Bernie Sanders-style economics but rather distributing university spots and jobs to favored ethnic groups. The claim goes further: anyone pushing back faces accusations of being a white supremacist while the framework sorts people into good racial groups versus bad ones like white, Jewish, or Asian folks. That approach is framed as actively pitting these groups against each other instead of unity. In contrast, what VP Vance says he loves about Trump's Republican party is that everybody is welcome.

Do you think he's a socialist? He clearly is a socialist. You look at his entire political program, it's fundamentally about handing out political favors, university education spots, jobs to his favored ethnic groups. And again, if you disagree with it, he'll call you names, he'll call you a white supremacist. Again, this is not Bernie Sanders-style socialism. This is good racial group, bad racial group. If you're white, if you're Jewish, if you're Asian, you're bad. If you're something else, you're good. and it's about pitting those groups of people against each other. What I love about President Trump's Republican Party is everybody's welcome.
