The Senegalese star went back to Bambali to break ground on an Agro-Industrial Park, and he didn't hand the bill to anyone else: 20 million dollars, his own money. The point of the place is fruit from the surrounding region, and once it's up and running it should put more than 2,000 people into direct jobs. That's a different kind of assist. And it isn't a first for him either. Bambali already has a school, a hospital, football pitches, plus internet access, all of it funded by him before this. Some players collect medals. Mané took what the game paid him and turned it into something his hometown can stand on.
