Kota Ibushi surgery update

Kota Ibushi has opened the floor on his second surgical procedure and laid out why a return to professional wrestling is almost impossible. The operation itself went through without a hitch, but the hardware installed to fix things won't ever come out. That replacement plate stays in there permanently for the rest of his life. He can live a normal life without any trouble thanks to the procedure, yet stepping back into professional wrestling means a high chance that same plate could snap again. If it breaks a second time, even simple daily tasks become a struggle. He confessed that years ago he would have fought tooth and nail for a comeback, but now he's confused because that drive just isn't there anymore. Is this all due to age? Maybe his body has finally figured out that with these legs he might never hit his prime again. Even though returning feels hopeless right now, he still plans to come back to the ring eventually. He doesn't know how many years the road to recovery will take, but he promised never to give up on that goal. His leg condition is pretty poor so he intends to dial down the intensity of his training sessions.
