Stardust Solutions is developing technology for it. The concept: tiny reflective particles released high into the atmosphere, bouncing a bit of sunlight back out to space to bring temperatures down. Materials research is happening. So is work on how those particles behave in the air, plus the systems that would deliver them. Nothing has been deployed at large scale. The company is investigating ways to cool the planet.
