Blue carpenter bees and bee bread

The honey these blue carpenter bees make is way denser than the usual stuff, closer to cookie dough or peanut butter than the syrup you'd pour on pancakes. They're found in southern Asia and produce it similar to European honeybees. The females take that honey, blend it with pollen into what's called bee bread, and then lay their eggs right on top of that mixture.
