US warships in Arabian Sea logistics crisis

The USS Lincoln crew spent months on frozen rations because the fresh food couldn't make the trip, and now Pete Hegseth has pushed those same deployments into 2027. That's the reality for the twenty American warships sitting in the Arabian Sea, a fleet that goes through about 420,000 meals and eight million gallons of fuel every week. The nearest safe port is 2,200 miles away, so supply vessels have to run to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean or all the way to Singapore, 3,700 miles out. Iran knocked out the Bahrain logistics hub on day one and has every Gulf port within missile range, which is why those ports are marked unavailable on the map. At-sea resupply now happens every five or six days, and the distance is roughly the span between New York and Denver.
