Will Ospreay opened up about discovering his body dysmorphia back in October of 2017, the same month he captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. He recalled a tweet claiming he was in the worst shape and admitted the criticism was accurate. At the time, he lacked basic knowledge of training concepts like sets, isolating specific body parts, or tracking macros. Although he visited the gym, he had no clue what he was actually doing. The embarrassment of asking other wrestlers for help stopped him cold. Seeing how jacked the boys were made him feel like an idiot for even considering asking to join their workouts.
