Nearly four centuries ago Xu Xiake climbed Wugong Mountain in Jiangxi and marveled at its soaring peaks, sea of clouds, and spectacular sunrise. Today visitors can hike through endless alpine meadows, camp beneath the Milky Way, or watch the sunrise above the clouds at this spot sitting at an elevation of 1,918 meters.
