Ukraine has built a jet-powered drone named the Alexa Spatium designed to hunt Russian drones out of the sky. It is Ukraine's first interceptor designed at home, with targets including Russia's Geran-3, 4, and 5 attack drones. The system runs on a turbojet engine and launches off a mobile catapult in minutes. Its mission scope extends beyond aerial threats to include recon aircraft, helicopters, ground targets, and sea targets. A key feature allows it to return to base if no targets are found, enabling it to fly again without wasting hardware. This development comes after Ukraine spent much of the war facing cheap Iranian-designed Gerans. #Ukraine
