I hade a crush to my make up artist and she turned out to be straight

So I'm a cosplayer and was looking for make up artists and I posted on a place asking for one and a lot of people were offering me their make up services! One sticked out to me and I chose her as my MUA, we talked everyday constantly for like 2 months before the event and she teased me and I teased her. at the event we had a fun time together and we even had lunch and dinner at a nice restaurant! After that day everytime I looked at her I was feeling something in my heart, until after a few days after the event while we were talking she just dissapeared. After 2 weeks of ghosting me but leaving me on read she texted back and she was acting completely normal? And after a bit of chatting she said "I found this guy that I like" and it just felt like my heart was crushed, not really important but I'm a lonely and very shy person who likes talking to one person because it's more comfortable. But after that day she deleted her account and stopped talking to me and her other clients all together, and i know that she has no responsibility to tell me anything about her life but it feels bad that even after those months of talking and getting to know each other, she just dropped me like everyone else in my life. So that's the story of how my tiny lesbian heart was crushed by a straight girl!!!
