New majority owners Josh Kushner and Bob Iger have taken over the Lakers after the Buss family sold their remaining 17.8% stake, per ShamsCharania. This marks the first time since 1979 the Buss family holds no ownership in the team. Jeanie Buss will not meet the required percentage to stay on as governor.
