An amended lawsuit says Playboy founder Hugh Hefner reached out to the FBI multiple times in 2005. This happened after former Playmate Audra Lynn Christiansen told him Jeffrey Epstein allegedly sexually assaulted and trafficked her. Christiansen hoped Hefner's connections would get authorities to take her allegations seriously. The filing claims the FBI didn't follow up with her until 2020, 15 years later and after Epstein's death. These accusations are part of a suit by 32 Epstein victims accusing the FBI of failing to act on reports involving Epstein dating back to the 1990s
