Memphis Depay was ready to sign a new deal with Corinthians, and the contract was already loaded into the club's system. Then the club pulled the plug. O’Globo says president Omar Stabile made the call to rescind it unilaterally. Depay and his team insist the agreement holds legal weight, so he might take Corinthians to court and push for up to 20 million dollars in damages.
