Strait of Hormuz commercial traffic under escort

U.S. forces have kept the southern lane of the Strait of Hormuz open for commercial ships, CENTCOM reports. Over the last three months more than 1,000 vessels got through safely with military help, even as Iranian threats and aggression continue. The corridor along the Omani side stays under active protection while Iranian ports remain blockaded. Commercial traffic is still moving under escort.
