@pavellimThe DOJ says the detention stopped what was presumably an already prepared attack that could have caused mass casualties. Jonathan Hunter Kramer, 22, was arrested on suspicion of preparing a terror attack said to be inspired by ISIL ideology. On the internet he went by Hamza al-Rashid. He is from Butler County, Pennsylvania, and the FBI picked him up on September 12. Investigators say that after he left a juvenile facility in March this year, he became active online again under names including Hamza al-Rashid. He claimed connections to ISIL, discussed instructions for building explosive devices, and said he was getting ready for a certain «mission» but required weapons. FBI agents watched him purchase a disposable mobile phone and go to a hunting and sports goods store. He was detained after coming back to a hotel with a rifle and ammunition he had bought. A search turned up a semi-automatic rifle, about 190 rounds, magazines, knives, a prayer rug, and other items.
